Keeping the revs down by typically dropping 6 teeth on gearing compared to race gearing will extend rebuild life to a comfortable 20hours. It will only cost you 2 to 3 tenths, and you can simply `bolt the time back on` for racing. This also has the benefit of highlighting the need to drive corners well, and the differences between set ups.
