The triz principles definately helps trying to specifiy the exact problem, hopefully it will enable me to pin point tohe exact problem.
He required a product design specification which needed figures to create restrictions for the product e.g. size, cost, material.
The idea will be find an idea to deal with the problem. Apply mathematics, and mechanical principles to support the solution. Then produce CAD drawings to finally end up with a rapid prototype of the component. So the main body of the project will be research and development of which i doing now.
I think i was a little naive coming into this project by not having the knowledge of the whole perspective. I used this a karting system as an example due to my past of racing them.
My initial thoughts were to attempt to prevent the fluid heating to a point of boiling and losing pressure, by some means of displacing the fluid back to the master cylinder or some means of re-circulation. Another to directly cool the calliper reservoirs.
A lot of research is still needed, but that's the point of the project so im prepared to take on any advice and information, so i appreciate the help.
