Bertoliniii cites 'legal reasons' but that ISN'T what the manufactures said when THEY ceased production! They claimed it was through 'lack of orders'! That was WAY back in Jan 2007!

We have heard MANY claims about production of the Biland restarting but I haven't seen a SINGLE substantiated claim that it HAS re-started...... yet!

At the moment, although I don't think the Rotax is WONDERFUL (I utterly LOATHE the seal), I would HAVE to recommend it of the two (if you only give me those two choices) simply because (as far as we know) there is NO threat to stop production of THAT motor! You may not yet be aware that the Vampire ALSO appears to be stopping production this year..... if Vampire's own 'site' is correct!

Secondly, there are VASTLY more races for the Rotax than almost ANY other class..... including my favourite of TKM!
