Ok, there's a lot of people get confused by the difference between the Final and the Finale.
The Final is the race on the Day. Chris may have finished ahead of Ron on the day.
The Finale is the culmination of the NKRA series, where the positions are calculated according to the championship rules and give the number plates. Chris finished behind Ron on that scale. Without looking it may even have been that Chris's points and Ron's points were equal, but Ron had the better first race (ie last February) so giving him the edge.
The fact that the final and the Finale take place at the same time on the same track is to confuse you!
It's like Massa may win the next F1 race, but it doesn't mean he will be World Champion.
(And yes, someone else was muttering that 'they beat Jamie Crease at the Finale, so why is he the Number 1 plate and how come Duncan is still 0'.)
Is that muddier?
