But we left it to the expertise of originally BP then Typechoice which evolved into Atol. In both instances there were experts working for all 3 organisations and they were keen to supply good quality fuel to pump specifications, which was our request to remain as a pump fuel rather than a special fuel so that up and until permit normal pump fuel could be used.

Non of the organistations BP/Reference Fuels, Typechoice/Atol and laterly Elf would supply anything but quality fuel, it's far more than their reputations are worth!

You will find over the years Ian has tested a lot of pump fuel and has an extensive knowledge on the subject and I'm sure he'd be more than happy to speak to you about it. He's always answered any question I've asked him honestly!
