Hi Snowy,

While I’m considerably older than you, our situations otherwise appear effectively to be quite similar.

It all depends what you have/want to spend, of course. Given sufficient experience and sensible driving as you say, I would suggest either a 125cc 6-speed gearbox kart (a.k.a. ICC) for ultimate bang for buck on a comparatively limited second-hand purchase budget, or of course Wankel as simply the ultimate. Nothing else comes anywhere near these options for driving pleasure – in my opinion.

Yes, Rye House looks like the obvious / best venue for you.
