Hi all,

I am really interesting in starting karting, not to be come any Lewis, as I am 32, but to enjoy and get fit. I have done some karting before, about 5-10 years ago with a 100cc TT27 on a Solo chassis. The problem I have is I will only ever be a 'hobby' Karter and will not be able to race regularly due to work commitments, I fly all over the place and I am usually working at weekends, so I would like a kart that I could just get in and go for some fun.

Please don't get me wrong, I take my driving very seriously and I think I am disciplined and will do my very best not to hold people up or drive like a prat!

So what are your thoughts? I live in Chelmsford, I am ok with the spanners and race car set up, karts are different I know but I would enjoy getting stuck in!

Any tracks near? Tilbury is ok but I worry about safety, Rye House?
