Thanks for all replies . Think a few people have slightly misunderstood my point . Not really concerned who can or how they get to race in S1 but more that people shouldn’t move away from there local clubs to travel , sometimes miles to race in what they perceive to be a good grid . I use Chkrc as an example , last year in cadets full grid all year sometimes more , B final etc , giving good racing only in my view topped by Pfi . To win was a great achievement This year it’s dropped , I appreciate only 1st meeting , and I’ve heard people say they want to race else where . Most have never been near the podium , which isn’t a problem at all and hence what I think is wrong with Karting . Why is your nearest club not good enough ? And why do Karting peeps feel the need to effectively live the dream . My point has always been about supporting your club and I used the entry to British championship to appeal to the masses to stay loyal and keep clubs going . Each to there own but it is and always will be a hobby , for 90% of us .
