He's certainly got the talent, but without the money behind him from the start he would never have got a look in. I remember when he was in minimax, his dad purchased twenty brand new engines, gave them to Force to build the best two! Someone we know rented one of those engines and my lad still beat him, so you still need talent at the lower levels. And there may still be a lot of money coming with him still. It's sad but the truth of modern day F1.
Would you say Danny Keirle or Ben Barnicote or Oliver Hodgson are ever going to get to F1, probably not. Are they as good as or better than Lando probably!
You need a either a rich dad or your dad is an ex F1 driver or a combination of both.
I'm sure BB has beaten Verstappen when he was in karting?
You NEED talent AND money to get to F1. But money is probably more important than talent, Q Lance Stroll!!!!!!
