I hope everyone has recovered and dried out from the inaugural Rotax Festival held at Clay Pigeon last weekend.
It was great to see the big grids back at Clay, reminded me of the Shakedowns just as I was starting karting. There was a really good buzz in the paddock all weekend and the circuit and club deserve a big thank you for putting on a top class event.
Some fantastic racing in all classes with the junior and Senior winners getting that golden ticket to the worlds. Just to add to the excitement the famous Clay Pigeon rain god couldnt resist taking Bernie's advice and introducing a little bit of moisture to spice up the racing.
I believe the Saturday evening entertainment was also great with a certain team manager demonstrating his surfing skills.
Hopefully the Cancer Research meeting in September will raise the bar even higher at this great circuit.
