Not good news for us. We (my lad in lights and me in fatmax) run in the IKR at Fulbeck. We get D2 from teams after they have used them for one race day or the odd test session. My lad has been able to compete on the yellow bar code used tyres and also green bar code - some IKR sense there - Green D2 are the same as yellow D2. Last weekend in one heat he was equal! fastest by 2 thousanths, some very close racing with the top 5 practically equal lap times. He was on some of our last Green or yellow bar code tyres. We have now got some used white bar code. I hope they will stand up for a race day at least excluding the usual hot laps you get from new the old yellows and greens used to last ok. We have a few yellows and greens but not many, better keep hold of them! Typical tyre manufacturiers making the tyres a little faster but useless beyond one race day aRRGGH.
