my post about the cars outside Mills kart shop was in reference to a post about someone saying there is no money in karting and wasn't a slight on them being succesful business men, they are very good business men to sell the x30 class and make it as popular as it is considering what they have sold. I think all the businesses making a massive amount of money out of the parents are not holding a gun at there heads, just supplying the demand and just for clarity i was one of those parents. I also made no reference to Paul Fletcher who is a great bloke and one of the few at the top of the food chain who puts back into karting for no reward. I can also say i have no ideas regards corruption and am an avid spectator of that discussion, but do understand why someone might choose to take there thoughts down that route, seeing myself what has gone on. Karting is big business for quite a number of people in paddock, i wonder how much the people (Clerk of the course, scrutineers etc) who run the race meetings at Super 1 level get paid ?
