If the Minutes and voting details were published, of course, then competitors could go and ask their Committees why they voted the way they did.

Or why they didn't bother to send anyone at all.

Clubs which were present and voted to retain the tyre tax include, I understand - although the ABkC won't confirm:

Clay Pigeon
Bayford Meadow
Lincs
Kimbolton
Whilton Mill
Shenington
TVKC
Cumbria
Rissington
Buckmore Park

I stand to be corrected...

I haven't noticed many of them admitting this to their members, though.

I understand only Camberley and Forest Edge supported changing the system.

If members don't bother having this debate within the club, then they can hardly complain about the ABkC and its decisions, including the decision to charge them the tyre tax.
