OK, among all this apathy, I’ll say that such promotion of the sport must surely be a good thing. However, that’s as long as you steer clear as much as you can from the ‘glamorous’ but expensive fringe of the sport, and instead concentrate on the more humble but fun base of karting; especially on the adults doing this as a just-about-affordable hobby and operating on their own. The words ‘Lewis’ and ‘Hamilton’ should be banned from any mention. Similarly, the word ‘ladder’ should be banned.
As for broadcasting the next ABkC meeting: ‘pigs might fly’ is what comes to mind. Would be interesting, though: perhaps the meeting that decides to shut the whole thing down? :)
Unfortunately, mention of the ABkC also suggests a fairly narrow perspective on karting. Would you intend to duly recognise IKR, where particularly adults pursue their hobby?
