Yeah, if they pass the test then that's all that's required. Price means pretty much nothing as most of the cost in the higher price helmets likely goes on advertising the brand, not on the safety construction.

This can be seen when you look at the UK's Sharp Test website. Many higher price helmets get low safety star ratings. Although it's not the Snell standard, it does prove that higher price helmets don't correlate to better improved protection.
