Your old suit will be fine for practice but I'm sure most teams can lend you kit if you need it. You only need to worry about having the right kit once you're racing.

Probably one of the best people to talk to in your area would be Jack Dex of Jack Dex Racing. He's on Facebook or else - http://www.jackdexracing.co.uk/

He should be able to help you with a test at Whilton Mill or Kimbolton on TKM/X30/Rotax and offer advice at what's best for your budget.
