I've just seen at shenny they charge £5 for spectator entries per car. If this is actually enforced how is karting going to ever introduce new blood to the sport or the track?
Also maybe the people who run shenny are trying to be like Pfi and charge the asse off of people as the clubs background is obviously the s1 establishment. The trouble is Pfi circuits outter pit area is better surfaced than shenny a track! Look at the costs of renting land. Rye house is near a major residential area on the outskirts of London. They don't charge for spectator entry or camping over. The land there would be x10 worth more than the likes of shenny in rental costs.
Sorry for the rant but shennys trying to be something it's not and charging competitors for poor facilities, with no money being ploughed back into the circuit.
When was the last time shenny actually improved the facilities or track?
No wonder the grids are falling.
Like I said shennys run by s1 organisers and in my view they are treating shenny like s1. It's all about profit!
