The response Colin Wright has given us:

OK checked with MyLaps and MSA. MSA are waiting for MyLaps to commit to a new test date as previous one gave some irregularities, thus X2 transponders are not currently legal in UK, MyLaps are apparently aware of that. Not ideal, hopefully solution soon, one main problem being no homologation for timing systems.
