As Andy says P1, though Sparco all over sort that wraps the back and shoulders without compromising feel is also a sound choice.

My son has used both and the Sparco one wins when it hits the fan.
From first hand experience when another cadet still in his kart landed on him, when an over ambitious novice went wheel over wheel and went right over the top of him, though the floor tray bolts didn't quite clear and they took a chunk out of the shoulder pad and when a poxy alto hub failed at the end of the straight and he went into the barriers and got pinged out and back on to the track, shaken but only one bruise
