It was an excellent effort by WMKC to have the courage to try something different. The white line rule is not actually their rule but an MSA rule.

Same as trying standing starts for Honda and Minimax.

If you don't ever try anything different you'll never know whether it is better or worse than before.

From our point of view, it was miles better to relax the rule on that corner, allowing the officials some time and space to focus on more important things.
