To Dave Hogg (and his dad Tommy) on winning the O plate F100 meting this weekend ,and also to MBKC for running it. Pre 2000 F100 is the fastest and possibly except for X30 the biggest growing class in kart racing at the moment (see Facebook F100).One of the reasons could be over 50 drivers participating without front /side and rear damage,the drivers respect each other and their equipment.
The camaraderie amongst the drivers is what is missing in Karting currently ,the number of people who had never seen them before and their comments on the overall quality of the preparaton and restoration of the karts and closeness of the racing ,the sounds and smells were a pleasure to witness.
Again well done to MBKC for staging it (other tracks get on board) and all the Drivers who took part.
