I have to say the use of the phrase "freak accident" is already ringing alarm bells for me.....its the wrong approach......people need to be more pro-active when a nasty near-miss has occurred, I use the phrase near-miss with reference to driver-death.....as an analogy of the re-active situation here, it appears there is a bit of "speed-camera" syndrome in karting, whereby 3 people will need to die in a certain spot before a speed camera is erected......someone please prove me wrong :-/
