Using impact guns in my view is bad practice, on most you cannot adjust the torque, if you look at the rim stud interface you will see that the metal is compressed (impacted) and distorted offering variable clamp loading, another reason for nuts becoming loose. What ever method of screwing up the nuts is used a torque over check should be done.
