This has happened to me before. I was the leader of the second grid trying to get past the back of the first grid. I was in a prokart, the first grid was World Formula. The track had long straights and the Wf has better acceleration which meant, even thought I was over 1.5secs faster than the back of the wf grid, I could not pass these guys without them backing out of the throttle to let me past.

Some did, some did not. I was lucky as I had a good lead and was not fighting for position. If I had of been, I would probably have given them a little nudge to get past.

Blue flag means the leaders are coming through and you should get out of the way in my opinion.
