1) Loading is pushing the karts in front along the straight, into and through the corner. You seem to be asserting that one kart cannot push another along the straight. Everybody knows it can and everybody knows that a train of karts can do the same.

2) Momentum has everything to do with it. To use your simple example, 5 karts are bumper to bumper going into the first corner (a hairpin). The front kart starts to brake and those behind don't. He is now braking for the other 4 karts. Would this be easier with a train of 2 karts or 10 karts? In the same scenario but with a first corner that doesn't require braking, he is now being pushed wide (and sideways) by 4 karts. Would staying on his chosen corner be easier when being pushed wide by 2 karts or 10 karts?

3) I haven't changed my position.
