Many of you will be making a pleasant but somewhat challenging trip to one of our Welsh Kart tracks in the remainder of 2014, please can I ask if you will consider to support my son in his 10KM run this month in Manchester on May 18th, to raise money for The Welsh Air Ambulance. Whilst Racing at GYG over 4 seasons of racing we were lucky/unlucky enough to see this service on hand at the track after some unfortunate "unwanted rollovers" meaning drivers needed help ASAP and with the remote location the only way of getting to a hospital quickly was by Air. My Son (who is now 30 and has played enough football to destroy most of his knees) has already raised a promised £500 on completion of the run and I would ask anyone who can spare anything towards this worthy cause would be kind enough to pledge online on his 'just-giving' webpage. http://www.justgiving.com/Christopher-Taylor14
Chris is well known in the north west to dedicate many hours of his own time both at track side and on the phone to simply help others enjoy their karting further, his passion of motorsport has been in his life since a very young age. Please if you can, support him in his dedication and hard work to this run again to help others. Chris will be at trackside at LGM GYG helping local drivers, however please note GYG circuit do raise their own funds for the same charity and this is not connected.
I wish everyone who is travelling to GYG and or any other Welsh tracks the best of luck and wellbeing through 2014. Dave
