Firstly I think you've got to be careful not to confuse the few big money teams with the majority. There are lots of teams realistically run as a hobby and not a business. These smaller teams frequently enable people to compete who otherwise wouldn't. People without the ability and/or equipment to prepare and maintain their own karts.

I also think you're in danger of confusing teams, and people with money. Banning teams wouldn't stop big motorhomes, big engines, new tyres, professional mechanics and drivers who get lots of seat time etc etc.

Plus; how do you think you can enforce such a ban? As an example let's be blunt and say 'Ban Fusion from club meetings'. Do you think it would stop their driver's showing up with their mechanics and just tying all their easy ups together? Us,a team? No we're just friends who like to park next to each other. They'd still have the same drivers, mechanics, engines, team manager and more importantly knowledge. They'd just leave the team identity at home.

Or are you saying ban team drivers? Apart from being even harder to enforce the clubs wouldn't be impressed with banning half their grid.

Sorry, but although I understand your motives I think you're wrong. Banning teams would achieve more bad than good.
