The camera gimbal is controlled by a separate transmitter. The gimbal has brushless motors so no wires to get tangled up, and you can pan continuously. Retractable gear means a 360 degree pan without seeing the landing skids. The gimbal stays in place, no point in removing it. You can break it all down and fit it back together.... If you really want to make your life difficult. I have made a large box with foam inside large enough to transport the aircraft fully assembled. Makes life easier.
