Let's be clear about this! The Honda won't be any quicker overall than it was this year. It is part of my function to ensure hat the Honda is not as quick as the IAME. All that is going to happen is that engines with a "not-so-good" ignition timing will be permitted to advance up to the point that the best engines were this year. It is cheap and easy to do, you do not need to go to an engine tuner if you have a little mechanical knowledge. This is not driven by the engine builders, but I have had their cooperation throughout this. This is driven by a desire for a little more equality of engine, and an ability to quite clearly distinguish, from a scrutineers perspective, when an engine has been tampered with and is outside of the regulations.
