Tired dad, what in your opinion is the reason for the lack of competition at club level? It's not that club drivers lack talent or ability any more than super one drivers are naturally gifted but the level of the competition must play a part in how the entire field performs. What would it matter if all potential drivers had to compete at club level? And how might the continuous presence of top quality drivers at club meetings change the overall standard of driving in karting? "Is super one really that expensive?" I don't know, how much in total including travel to circuits, motor home/hotel fees, eating out, tyres, race fuel, entries, team costs, damage, engine fees, team race suits etc protest fees, appeals, fines etc would it cost to compete with the best kids at the front?
