Agree with Kelvin, you do have to take it on trust with the engine builder that having paid them a bunch of money that you aren't going to be dropped in it by no fault of your own, but as there would be no way of proving that it was engine builder you don't really have a recourse at with them and you're on your own at scruitineering.

The tool you mention sounds very interesting and helpful from everyone's perspective.

Also agree that Ł4-5k is bonkers but if someone agrees to it being worth that much then so be it. That said that probably has a bearing on the expectations of the person who just paid it.

Some of the T2s are incredibly quick but given their scarcity it's easy to see why they command the prices that they do.
