One problem is whether the loading is intentional or not. Even if the first loader could be singled out before any cumulative effect is observed, how do you propose to identify if the loading is intentional or as a result of an inexperienced cadet braking too early? I expect my lad to get fired off whenever he starts near the front because he is earlier on the brakes than the older more experienced drivers. How would any of you feel if your driver is penalised for firing someone because thy braked earlier than expected? Perhaps the arks test could be made more difficult? Or maybe the age/ability range is too great? If technology is employed to help determine intentional vs accidental contact, who would meet the cost of supplying every kart with sensors to use as evidence and who would analyse the acquired data? It's all very well making it non contact but what's the point when contact is inevitable? Who would be prepared to endure the initial period where wrong decisions and ruined weekends are inevitable in the hope that penalisation would act as a deterrent? The reality is we don't have the benefit of multi angle television replays or telemetry data which would prove what happened.
