There are good and bad things about sealed and unsealed,
I am leaning towards sealed as possibly the better option,
Think you are correct Richyehav
About expecting more checks!
We race Honda, and the last half of this year the checks have been HUGE, and sometimes a total nightmare,
We have had, cranks, timing, carbs, jets, tubes, fuel, restrictors, spark plugs, flywheels, heads, rings, spark plug caps, fuel, cooling fans, coil bolts, emulsion tubes, exhausts, valve seals, head gaskets, flywheel keys and key ways, rocker profiles, coils and coil position and even valves TAKEN OUT and checked, some checks happen 2 or 3 times a meeting.
2 races ago we had, the restrictor out, the carb off in bits, the exhaust rocker arm totally off out the motor, the inlet spring out and exhaust off, in ONE GO!
A REAL pain if the motor needs to go back to builder after they do a "big" check, becomes very expensive and disrupting if your "best motor" is in pieces after a race!
A double edge sword as I am ALL FOR stamping out any cheating, but having your motor in parts time after time becomes very tiring and expensive.
