I'm looking into getting back into Kart racing again (use to race in Snr TKM about 14 years ago) and probably looking to get a Rotax max as the three or so clubs nearest to me seem to be running these and only one seem to be running TKM.

So, are there any particular preferred chassis to go for in this class or are they all much the same (i'm only looking at club level/for fun so nothing too serious)?

Also, are there any particular things I would need to check for to make sure the kart I buy is ready to race/to meet required regs etc?

Any advice much appreciated thanks!
