Newbie - Which Class??

Wondering if any of you on here could offer some advice please......

I used to do karting about 14 years ago where I raced at club level in the Senior TKM class. For some time now I have been thinking of getting back into racing (nothing too serious, just as a hobby/for fun etc) and was looking at some car racing - 750 Motor Club stuff for example, however the entry prices seem rather steep so thought I would take a look at karting again to see whats what 14 years down the line!.......

From looking around at the various tracks/clubs (I'm based in East Anglia) there doesn't seem to be many clubs now running the TKM class (I gather it's now TKM Extreme??). Most places seem to be doing just the senior Rotax classes, is this correct?

Which are the more popular classes now, would the Rotax class be the one to consider?

Any advice much appreciated, thanks
