The old coil has no rev limiter and when tested wil provide sparks up to and over 16k revs, the green plug coil provides a higher kv output but has an ignition cut rev limiter at 14350 rpm. Both have the same or as near as identicle as 2 coils can be, the same ignition mam curve. So in theory the green coil should provide a slightl better burn from a stronger spark, however this is less of a margine of a performance increase than can be found in a good black coil v a poor green one. Although both have the same ignition mam slight variations do occur, therefore a goog coil is a good coil whatever colour the plug. Paddock bull@hite will always tell you you have the wrong one on your kart but the proper way is to test a few of each, find the best and stick with it. Remember the gains/losses are such that unless your driver is at the top of his, or her game then track variations or errors on susequent runs can give fale info to the stopwatch. Don't loose too much sleep over having the wrong colour coil on your kart as unless you are very very unlucky the coil colour will not be costing you places.
