Yesterday was the Aixro XR50 race series' first visit to Woodthorpe Kart Club, aka ‘Strubby’.
Once again a first-rate experience: a friendly, relaxed, family and generally excellent atmosphere combined with a well-run schedule of quite a large number of classes made for a great way to spend a weekend. The fact that the racing is clean - as is typical for IKR - of course helps a lot in all of those respects.
Thanks very much to all organisers and staff.
The fast and flowing track is very well suited to Aixro-powered karts. It therefore also comes as no surprise that this track/club has become the effective home of gearbox karting in the UK, regularly hosting by far the largest KZ grids.
