This is bad. cadet tyres used to last really well and it was even suggested (but not taken up) that the national championship should be restricted to a single set of slicks.
S1 did introduce the one set for two rounds to reduce costs so that was a start but sounds as if the new tyres are not nearly as durable.
Maybe the compund has changed to remove some additives - other classes suffered similar problems when the compunds changed.
Are you reporting this problem to the ABKC (think they have an involvement in the tyre contracts - matbe more than the MSA).
I know Graham does reaf the forum posts but best to report this officially.
