In defence of the officials they are trying to watch 30 to 34 drivers whilst we only watch our own so a thankless task.
We did S1 for two years and moved up to Seniors this year but did not fancy having to buy 2 chassis again due to the damage, saw too many times grease put on the camera lens and drivers told "load your way through", I agree send some home and it might start to control.
We chose instead to race in Europe at BNL and from first round all I can say is chalk and cheese in the mentalities, transgressors are out, track time more, easier to get to Belgium and France than the Northern tracks in the UK and all in all we are looking at half the price of Super 1! Half the grid in seniors were British and seems they too are tired of the carnage that has become S1, feel sorry for the Belgians when the British drivers outnumber them in their own Championship!
One weekend done, NO damage at all, happy driver, good racing, wide tracks and much cheaper than racing at the "pinnacle" of UK karting!
Things have to change?!
