This was the first time we have been back to Kim since May 2012.
My lad and I love the track both 1 & 2 circuits. Our local club circuit is PF where we are very competatvive even at the highest level.
We propose to compete in the Anglian cup hence racing in the Aprils amd Mays meetings.
However,all heats and the final in the Minimax class were utter carnagle and very poor driving standards to put it mildly.

Heat-1 This was red flagged because of two false starts, these being to fast???
Why penilise all drivers?? very simple as PF do now, send the front two to the back or give them both a black flag. When the race finally started
the start was way to fast, first corner carrange including my lad who was under another kart, the race still contiuned thou!!!
Heat-2 Start was way to fast again, first corner crash, this time young driver suffered a broken arm i am told, race red flagged and the heat was cancelled never to be re run, WHY????

Heat - 3 Again to fast another pile up on turn 1, pure luck we started near the front and actaully got round without being involved.
Final: Start still to fast this time an even bigger pile up including my lad, several kart never got going because of major damage, not a very good day for Kart racing by any standards.
Why is it so difficult for HKRC to sort this very simple basic problem????

Move the start line 150 meters closer to turn 1, include a speed trap as PF do now, maximum speed will be 35mph, two warnings only to the front pair then black flag, very simple and effective.

Out of the 29 drivers entered in the Minimax race i suspect theres only a handfull that should be in Minimax, they have probably come straight from cadets to early witout enough racecraft and knowledge.

There is a common theme here for HKRC to think about and consider: STARTS TO FAST
Please sort it before another young driver is seriuosly injured or worse.
