Ok...not sure about the technicalities, but could one specific club not create a 'whilton league' where members who will eventually go back to wilton (because its local etc) can take the points of the rounds they have done there to count to transfer back to whilton if its sorted within the first ? 5 rounds of the year? They could pay perhaps an extra Ł5 to the hosting club to go into a separate account that could pay for trophies at the end of the year or of whilton doesnt happen then it could go back to the members or to charity.
Not thought it through really and could be more trouble that worth (probably alot of negatives somewhere) but a club could benefit from looking after these racers and also help whatever emerges from the mess.
