If it had been put on the same weekend there is no way in a million years that it would have been down to bad planning, that is the part I was on about (not the rest of it) and no I don't agree with you on that point.
Bad planning isn't an excuse when it comes to putting on events like this, it's like saying a premiership footballer didn't realise that you are expected to do training in between match fixtures even though he had been doing it for the past three years. Checking that dates don't clash would be one of the first things you do before putting on an event, it's a major part of assessing the market potential.
Anyway it appears this has all come from a rumour so at this point nobody has got anything to worry about and we can all go back to our happy place ; )
