We have raced both non MSA at Hooton and MSA all over the Place. We are members at MBKC. To be totally frank, there are as many bandit drivers who race MSA as there are in none MSA. MSA drivers seem to believe that the non MSA boys cheat because they may make alterations to their karts or engines. How can they possibly cheat if there is no rule to say they shouldn't do it. Conversely there are plenty who cheat at MSA by playing with the rules or alternatively by actually making alterations which are illegal or by running with less weight than they should or by running underweight drivers but making the weight up by using lead lined rib protectors. There are a multitude of ways to cheat. You cant stop a cheater unless they are caught. So those who want to win fair will always miss out to the cheater. None of us can say that our racing is the better one to participate in. Both sides love racing and thats all that matters. Live and let live and lets just enjoy our own racing.
