There are quite a few people who enjoy looking at the live timing but they may not be picking up the bills!

The Tag system provides more information such as split lap times for all drivers and the detailed booklets have lots of information - if you have the time to study it.

It also looks as if the system could be used to improve starts and maybe some other benefits.

I can understand a club like TVKC seeking to improve their tack facilities and for anyone joining the sport the Tag seems no more expensive than the AMBs (same for anyone needing to replace their old equipment).

The ideal situation would be if both transponders would work at all tracks - albeit with differing levels of race information.

This is probably something we could easily live without but in a few years it will be standard.
