Let's just imagine that everyone in cadet's isn't eight and that they don't weigh next to nothing, then given that the greater number of the field don't then you can understand the need for a minimum weight. Now imagine the distribution of those weights across the field plotted in a pretty bell shaped line, if it makes you any happier grab some crayons and go nuts - but try to keep it within the lines. And somewhere along that curve will be you 103kg.
