That's a very good explanation of the variable problems that you have with the weather temperature and kart set-up that ITPRO has given there. I'd use that guide to explain the problems and I'd use your guide (Red Dragon Racing) to try and address those problems.
Red Dragon Racing - one thing I have learnt in kart racing is that there is a hell of a lot of BS that goes around the paddock that you shouldn't listen to. People will tell you one thing and another person will tell you the opposite, you have to draw your own conclusions and do whatever works best for you.
Ultimately the only way to know if you are correct is to make a change on the kart, send it out and when it comes back check the lap times and see if the change had the desired effect. The stopwatch doesn't lie.
