I'd reiterate the 'well done' to forest.
But what I find amusing is that some seem to think timed qualifying would improve driving standards when in reality it has the opposite effect.
Random grid qualifying, 'trains' drivers not only to pass but also to be passed by faster drivers.
Qualifying encourages drivers to keep the next kart back behind them at all costs. Even if not on purpose, there is so little overtaking that drivers who are not used to being overtaken often turn in without considering that somebody might actually have the balls to be coming past.
Coincidentally our first ever experience of mixed qualifying was at Forest. In 1 heat I saw more overtakes than you would see in a whole weekend under timed qualifying.
