When you fully shim it to suit your new pads it will only gain you around 5mm. But it's something.
Since using the Daytona we have never moved from Mid set up. We are at Whilton this weekend and that 'tune' was actually on my list...If the weather is kind of course.
On Stays for high and low ride height. What I do is fit the stays at mid ride with a 5mm hard plastic washer. Then as you go up or down you can increase or decrease the washer thickness which allows for the minimal length change. Not perfect but gives enough adjustment.
Last year we made the change from Comer to Mini's and found no real issue. This year to juniors has been a big jump. Simply it's a bunch of 15 to 17 year olds with attitude, whereas in Mini's the kids are still fairly young and controllable.
Any questions are fine.
