Hi Racingjase,
Can you confirm where the rules say that. My reading of the rules say that once you have obtained the 5 signatures you are no longer considered a novice and that for "those wanting / wishing to upgrade" they have to obtain the signatures.

The trouble is is that my understanding of it is that for those not wanting or wishing to upgrade then there is nothing to make them do so.
