Hi Thomas, I apologise for a purely theoretical reply as I have been reading up on this subject but have not yet put it into practice. Essentialy, I believe, you have too much grip front and rear. Your kart sounds as if it were last set up for either a very wet day or to run on hard old tyres with no grip. You have far too much grip for a dry overcast day on YGBs. Kart setup seems very complicated unless I have read too much into it but an obvious starting point would be to move the rear wheels out (to reduce rear grip) and move the front wheels in (to reduce front grip). To quote one of my books 'if the rear bumper is set real loose, it can cause the rear handling to be erratic - the kart will slide, then grip, then slide again' so that may also be a problem especially as the front torsion bar is in but not the rear. You may also have a lot of caster and king pin inclination if the kart was setup for wet but that starts to make things more complicated than I can easily explain ! I'm also based in Kent, so happy to meet up for a test day sometime and put some of the theories into practice
